Pizza is an Italian dish that has grew to become very popular across many different countries and it is something that many people enjoy. In other places around the world, you might think of pizza as being fast food but in Italy it plays a big role and is considered the most important dish. Pizza is a food that usually contains a doughy crust, a layer of sauce which is followed by shredded cheese and then any toppings you like with pepperoni being a popular option. In Italy, Margarita is a popular pizza recipe and contains things such as olive oil, basil, and mozzarella cheese.
Lasagne

Lasagne might not be the typical thing that you think of when it comes to pasta because it is a bit different than other types since it utilizes a more large surface with layers rather than small noodles with sauce which you see a lot of when it comes to types of pasta. Lasagne mainly consists of large sheets of noodles with pasta sauce and groung meat in between them but depending on the recipe, it may also be topped off with things such as tomatoes, olive oil, and parmesan cheese. Lasagne originally comes from a town in Italy called Bologna but soon spread to places all around the world.

Bruschetta is a dish made with ingredients such as tomatoes, vegetables, and cheese piled up on grilled slices of bread. This is a dish that is often eaten by Italians for all meals of the day and even as a snack which is more popular in the summer but it is most often served as an appetizer since it is small and light-weight, allowing you to eat more afterwards. Bruschetta has a unique flavour and can be considered to be a more gourmet food. This dish has existed for a long time in Italy with it dating back as far as the 15th century.
